The prep basketball team opened its 2025-26 campaign with a convincing victory over visiting Reason Prep (MA), 121-55.  Brewster was led by Bates-bound Alex Gordon with 24 points, including 4 three-pointers, while sophomore guard Joe Colagrossi added 18 points off the bench. Senior forward Benton Welker contributed 17 points, while classmate Hamilton-commit Cyrus Hutchison chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds.  Senior forward Sean Taylor had a solid all-around game with 10 points and 7 rebounds.
