It has been an exhilarating winter season for Brewster teams, and the Winter Sports Awards celebration put the spotlight squarely on the student-athletes who compete with grit, pride, and purpose each day. With 12 interscholastic teams in action, the 2025–2026 winter term has showcased excellence across the board.
Addressing students at the recent all-school ceremony in Anderson Hall, Athletic Director Connor Wells reflected on what has made this winter so memorable: an all-time successful Snowboarding season with multiple first-place finishes and the program's first-ever home event at Abenaki Ski Area; record-setting fan support for Brewster's hockey teams, with more buses than ever heading to The Pop; a Prep Basketball team advancing to the League Semi-finals; and a National EYBL Basketball program competing at the highest level in the country, poised for the EYBL Scholastic League playoffs, hopeful for a National Tournament berth, and hosting its first-ever league home game in a spirited "White-Out" atmosphere.
Wells challenged students to continue setting great examples as members of Bobcat Nation by showing up for one another, competing with integrity, and living out Brewster's core values of respect, responsibility, independence, and interdependence. In his words, there is a core theme at Brewster: Bobcats show up.Â
