Michael Figge began his career teaching History at Regis High School in New York, N.Y. He left teaching in 2004 to pursue an opportunity in corporate consulting. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer of a healthcare technology company before coming to Brewster. He teaches Economics and AP Macroeconomics, and is Assistant Coach of the Ski team.
Mr. Figge has served as an instructor, advisor, and mentor throughout his business career. He notes that he never really left teaching when he entered the business world, and credits teaching as the biggest influence on his management style and on the development of highly competent and accountable teams.
Mr. Figge is a married father of two adult children. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the United States-Indonesia Society. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys being surrounded by Wolfeboro’s natural beauty.
