Brewster Academy Athletics

Kirsty Ridings, MS ATC/L PES, graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine and went on to complete a master's in Exercise Science from the California University of Pennsylvania.
 
Prior to coming to Brewster in 2007, Kirsty initiated the athletic training program at Kingswood Regional High School and over saw all of the sports medicine at KRHS for three years before moving on to Brewster Academy.  Her enthusiasm for sports and athletic training has taken her around the country, working at universities including Dartmouth College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical in Florida and SUNY New Paltz, as well as working with the Cape Cod Baseball League.

During Kirsty's time at Brewster she has initiated an on-campus physical therapy program, set up impact testing for student concussions, and developed an ACL prevention program for our girls' programs.
