Boys' National Basketball Overview

The Boys National Basketball Team competes in the premier high school basketball league in the United States, the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League- Scholastic (Nike EYBL Scholastic).  Brewster Academy is a Nike Elite High School Program (only school to have this distinction in New England). This team plays a full schedule of 30+ games and travels nationwide to invitation-only events for top programs. The Nike EYBL has a multi-year agreement with ESPN and broadcasts 50+ games nationally. All members of the boys' national team strive to compete at the highest level in college. The goal of Brewster's boys' national team is to play competitively within the Nike EYBL Scholastic and be in position to be invited to the Chipotle High School Boys' Basketball National Tournament at the end of the season. 24 Brewster alumni have played in the NBA, while 70+ others have had professional careers in leagues around the world, including the NBA G League. There have been 40+ alumni to play in the NBA G League. 14 alumni have been selected in the NBA Draft since 2010.

Since 2001, the program has sent over 170 players to Division I schools, including: Stanford University, Georgetown University, University of North Carolina, University of Kansas, University of Michigan, Syracuse University, University of Kentucky, University of Virginia, University of California-Los Angeles, Vanderbilt University, Brown University, Princeton University, Cornell University, Harvard University, and Columbia University.
