The Brewster Varsity Hockey team opened the season with a strong statement, defeating NMH to start 1–0. Senior forward Travis Gillen powered the Bobcats' offense with a three-goal performance, earning his first career Brewster hat trick. Jr Bonia was outstanding in net, turning aside 33 shots to secure the victory.
