Bobcat of the Week: Madox Gregory ’29

In just a short time on campus, Madox Gregory has already made his mark on the Boys' JV Basketball team. Attentive, encouraging, and a natural motivator, he's known for "rallying the troops" every day in practice and competition. For a 4:30 p.m. practice, Madox often arrives more than an hour early to get extra runs in with the intramural group—a true reflection of his love for the game.

On the court, he brings relentless energy and impact. While not always the leading scorer, Madox contributes in countless ways: tough on-ball defense, elite ball handling, strong drives to the basket, and pinpoint passing that creates scoring opportunities for teammates. In a big win over rival New Hampton School this weekend, a referee even noted that Madox was the hardest-working player on the floor.

With a bright future ahead, Madox is quickly becoming a player to watch in the Lakes Region.
