Bobcat of the Week: Paytyn Burke ’27

Since the start of the season, Paytyn Burke has been a leader on the Girls' JV Hockey team. Uplifting, morale-boosting, and always offering helpful feedback, she supports her teammates through every shift with a consistently positive attitude. This past week, she scored a goal and created multiple scoring chances in an 8–1 road win for the Bobcats, then added two more tallies against a tough New Hampton School squad—including a highlight-reel finish on a high-speed breakaway.

What stands out most when Paytyn is on the ice is her genuine joy for the game. Earlier this season against Exeter, she blasted a goal past the opposing goalie and celebrated by sliding into the boards in front of the Brewster student section, sharing the moment with fans. Coachable, respectful, and responsible, Paytyn embodies what it means to be a great teammate.
