Bobcats Outlast Hebron in 17-16 Rain-Soaked Thriller

In a game defined by grit, mud, and relentless determination, Brewster Academy went on the road and outlasted Hebron Academy, securing a thrilling 17-16 victory. The game-winner came off the stick of senior Will Baldwin, capping off an absolute battle in the rain.

The elements made for a sloppy, high-scoring affair on the grass, but the Brewster offense found its footing early and kept the pressure on. Robbie Koch put on a clinic, netting 4 goals and adding an assist, while Owen Tucker continued his dominant stretch with another 4-goal performance. Tim Halleron acted as the primary distributor on the day, carving up the Hebron defense to dish out a career-high 5 assists to go along with a goal of his own.

Will Baldwin's game-winner secured his hat trick (3 goals), while Mikey Anger was highly effective with 2 goals and 2 assists. Jacob Booth, JR Bonia, and Brayden Connell each found the back of the net once, with Connell and Charlie Martin also chipping in with an assist apiece.

On the ground, it was a total team effort to handle the muddy conditions. Brewster fought hard for every possession, racking up ground balls across the roster. Mikey Anger, Will Baldwin, Jonathan Dion, and Brayden McKenna led the charge on the turf with 4 ground balls each.

At the faceoff X, JR Bonia (9 and Jack Cuddy battled through tough footing all afternoon to help secure crucial possessions. In cage, Quinn Dufort stood tall when it mattered most, turning away 9 shots in the rain to seal the victory.

This gritty road win keeps the Bobcats' postseason momentum rolling as they prepare for a massive home clash against KUA this Saturday.
