CJ Fair arrived in the fall of 2009 as a consensus top 100 player in the nation and already committed to Syracuse University. A very gifted, versatile forward, Fair earned 1st Team All NEPSAC honors and led Brewster to the NEPSAC Championship, as well as the programs first National Prep Championship. Fair enjoyed a tremendous career at Syracuse leading them to the 2013 Final Four. His honors included: 2nd Team All Big East, 1st Team All ACC, Associated Press 2nd Team All-America, USA Basketball Writers Association District 1 Player of the Year, and ACC Preseason Player of the Year.  He was also named to the Naismith, Wooden and Oscar Robertson Awards preseason watch lists. He finished his Syracuse career with 1660 career points and 815 career rebounds - which is top 20 all-time in each category for the storied program.  He also received the NCAA’s prestigious Senior Class Award.  Fair was a NBA Development League All Rookie Team Second Team selection and has played professionally in the NBA Summer League, NBA G League, as well as overseas.  Known by all those who work with him as a leader and great individual, Mrs. Hunter - his teacher at Brewster - said it well: “His kindness and gentleness were always so present in who he was day in and day out.”
