Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, TJ Warren came to Brewster in 2011 as a key post-graduate recruit. He was a dominant player on Brewster’s 2012 National Prep Championship team, earned 1st Team All-NEPSAC honors, and was a 2012 McDonald's All-American (the first player to receive this prestigious recognition in school history). Warren was also a consensus Top 25 player in the nation in 2012. Signing with North Carolina State after Brewster, Warren was named to the 2013 ACC All Freshman Team; 2014 ACC Player of the Year; 2014 2nd Team AP All American; 2014 ACC All Tournament Team; and 2014 Wooden Award Finalist. #24 is retired at North Carolina State in his honor due to his illustrious collegiate career. In 2014, Warren was the 14th overall pick in the NBA Draft, selected by the Phoenix Suns. Upon being traded to the Indiana Pacers in 2019, Warren was a 2020 NBA Bubble First Team Selection. He also had a noteworthy 53 point game versus the Philadelphia 76ers during his career. TJ Warren has done extensive charitable work for his hometown community of Durham, and he continues to lead the TJ Warren Foundation, whose mission is: to empower, mentor and educate challenged youth in underserved areas in the Triangle area by providing resources towards their education.
