Although recruited to play ice hockey, Teraysa excelled both on the field hockey pitch and the softball diamond. Her outstanding athleticism, deep commitment to sport, and competitive nature distinguished her as a Lakes Region All-Star in three sports.  In softball, she was absolutely dominant on the pitching mound and basically unhittable. Newer to field hockey, Teraysa immediately established herself as the top goaltender in northern New England and led the team to winning seasons year in and year out.  On the ice Terysa excelled and proved to be a key player who helped the girls’ hockey program transition from Division 2 champions to a powerhouse Division 1 team. Talented players such as Terysa initially took a chance on the seemingly small school on the lake in Wolfeboro and helped build the hockey program to become a major New England contender. As the starting (and only) goaltender for her entire career at Brewster, White backstopped great victories over Choate at the Deerfield tournament, over Andover at the Pop Whalen Arena, over Loomis Chaffee, over Phillips Exeter, over Tabor, and just about every other top program in New England and across the country. Teraysa White is the winningest goaltender in the program’s history and the only keeper to record 30 wins in a season.  White went on to be a standout ice hockey goaltender in college at both New England College and the College of St. Scholastica, where she played in 110 games, saved 3109 shots, for an impressive 0.924 career save percentage.
