Recruited to Brewster for hockey, Louise Warren was described by her hockey Coach Jonathan Fouser as a dominant force in New England prep school hockey from 2007-2010. She led the Bobcats to the Deerfield Academy Christmas tournament championship, the Phillips Exeter New Year’s tournament championship, and the Watkins Cup at Cushing Academy. During her time at Brewster, girls’ hockey finished each year ranked in the top five in New England. The team that she captained in 2010 was considered the best high school hockey team in the country by many and finished the season with an overall record of 25-2-1, the same year Warren was named New England Division 1 Player of the Year. She was also named to the All-NEPSAC team in her sophomore and junior seasons. On the soccer pitch, Coach Matt Butcher described Warren as perhaps the most dominant soccer player ever to play at Brewster. In three seasons, Louise and the Brewster Bobcats won every game in which she played. She ranks at the top for Brewster Girls’ Soccer in almost all scoring categories, along with being a Boston Globe NEPSAC All-Star in 2009. Warren was also the most valuable player in lacrosse at Brewster for two seasons as a goaltender. And, she was a member of Brewster’s academic honor roll throughout her entire career. Warren’s Brewster coaches have said of her that she was a true team player, understood her responsibility as a leader, and was fully involved in the school community. Warren continued as a standout ice hockey player at Boston University, where she captained the team in 2014 and led her squad to two National Championship game berths in her time as a Terrier. She finished her collegiate career having played in 151 games, scoring 55 goals and 53 assists, for an impressive 108 career point total.
